About Me

Michelle Stover (she/her) is an Atlanta based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brenau University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and University of North Georgia with an AA in Theatre Arts. Michelle is currently an Acting Apprentice at Actor's Express.

Her biggest passions in life are performing and learning, always looking for new ways to grow. She is also a huge advocate for community outreach and cultural diversity in the arts. Art is the great unifier!

In her free time, Michelle can be found thrifting with friends, reviewing movies on LetterBoxd, listening to aggressive elevator jazz, and referring to herself in third person.

Currently: Michelle is an assistant choreographer in the Southeastern premier of A Strange Loop at Actor's Express, running July 26th – August 31st.

As a choreographer, Michelle loves to work with all styles of dance. She is specifically a proponent of blending musical theatre jazz with afro-latin influences, due to its capacity for storytelling and themes of collaboration, community, and connection to the Earth. Visit the choreography archive for samples of her work.

She is an experienced teaching artist, having worked with children, teens, and adults since she was in high-school. It brings her much joy and fulfillment to help guide and pass knowledge onto others in any ways she can. Though she loves to teach, Michelle also recognizes that she herself will always be a student first, in theatre and in life.

"And let us, ciphers to this great account, on your imaginary forces work."

–Henry V, William Shakespeare

Fun fact: In addition to being a performer, choreographer, and teaching artist, Michelle is also a graphic designer; click here to see her portfolio.
