About Me

Michelle Stover (she/her) is an Atlanta based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brenau University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and University of North Georgia with an AA in Theatre Arts, and was an Acting Apprentice at Actor's Express from '24 – '25.

When she is at work, Michelle is all about positivity and collaborating with her fellow artists. Learning and performing are her two greatest passions, and she is always looking for ways to stretch.

In her free time, Michelle can be found sipping matcha lattes around Atlanta, reviewing movies on LetterBoxd, listening to aggressive elevator jazz, and referring to herself in third person.

Recently: Michelle was an assistant choreographer in the Southeastern premier of A Strange Loop at Actor's Express.

As a choreographer, Michelle loves to work with various styles of dance: specifically blending musical theatre jazz with afro-latin influences, due to its capacity for storytelling and themes of collaboration, community, and connection to the Earth. Art is the great unifier!

Visit the choreography archive for samples of her work.

Michelle is a huge advocate for community outreach and cultural diversity in the arts. She currently teaches dance and theatre classes pre-K through 12th grade in Athens and Atlanta.
